QUESTION:

Is Your Soul Redeemed by God?

ANSWER:

“God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me.” [Psalm 49:15]

“My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.” [Psalm 71:23]

“Born in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies, sinners by nature, then God has redeemed us and redeemed our soul, and has a blessed body waiting for us, that'll never be sick, even above temptation, a body like His own glorious body, then we shall see Him as He is.” [I Am The Resurrection And The Life, Chicago, IL 52-0810A]

“Let's talk about the death side. Now, how could a person on that estate, in that kind of a condition, ever be sick? Because that your body is not yet redeemed. Your body is not redeemed. No matter how much, how good you are, and how saintly and how holy, how much Holy Spirit, that's only your soul. And your soul is not completed yet. It's just got the blessing, the promise of God, which is the earnest of our salvation. But now, if we have no earnest of our resurrection, no Divine healing, then I'll have no assurance or nothing to prove to me that there is a resurrection.” [Demonology Physical Realm, Connersville, IN 53-0608A]

“Like the believer, as soon as he gets saved, maybe a cancer has eaten him up, or some disease. God has redemption also through power. The same as He has redemption for the soul, He has redemption for the body.” [Redemption In Completeness In Joy, Louisville, KY 54-0330]

“Then there was no man to till the soil, and He put man in the image of beast life. He might give him a hand like a monkey, a foot like a bear. But the difference between the animal and the man, he made him a soul, a living soul. Because the Spirit of God was in the man. And then the only way that God could redeem the man, then God came down and was made flesh to redeem the man that He'd condemn in the flesh. That's when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was made flesh and dwelt among us.” [I Will Restore Unto You, Saith The Lord, Los Angeles, CA 54-0809A]

“What did He redeem? He redeemed your soul from hell. He redeemed and brought back everything that Adam lost, when he put you in the pawn shop. Jesus Christ, on Calvary was your Kinsman Redeemer that redeemed you from every curse of the devil. He redeems your soul. He redeems your sick body. He redeems your weary, dreary spirit. He brought you happiness. He brought you joy. He brought you... That's what the redemption brought you, brought you peace, long-suffering, goodness, gentleness, meekness, power, the Holy Spirit, brought you Divine healing. All these things Jesus Christ brought to you, because He was our Kinsman Redeemer.” [Redeemer Redemption, San Fernando, CA 55-1119]]

“When He died at Calvary, He raised His hands which was tacked to the cross, and said, "It's finished." What's finished? All's been finished. Everything that Satan done to the human race, the price was paid for, and we are completely redeemed tonight in Christ from all of our--ever what happened. And no one can preach salvation without preaching Divine healing. See? You can't preach redemption of the soul without preaching redemption of the body. See, when you can't deal with sin in any measure, 'less you deal with sickness and every attribute. Sickness is the results of sin. Sickness is an attribute of sin.” [Hear Ye Him, Parkersburg, WV 56-1215]

“When man was made and put here on earth, we find out that he was made not to sin. He was made a perfect man. Sin's what caused the fall. And now, he's in a twofold aspect. He is, one, he is spirit. Next, he's material. One, he's heavenly, a son of God. The next, he's a creature of destination. And he's got to be gone back to the dust on the account of the fall. And Jesus came to redeem that man. Now, I want you to notice. Sickness and sin is so closely associated together, that it's almost like the soul and body. It's inseparable. Man's got to die. His soul is full of sin, and his body is full of sickness, and death is pronounced on him. He's got to go. His soul is sick and his body is sick. And Jesus come to redeem both of them, that's right, not just one; his soul. He came to bring complete redemption. And we only have the earnest of our complete salvation now. If there is no Divine healing now, there's no resurrection of the body.” [Life Is The Healer, Indianapolis, IN 57-0611]

“Jesus come to destroy the works of the devil. That's why God was made both soul and body. Jesus had both soul and body and yet was God. He came to take on Himself the full form of man to redeem the full form of man back to God. That's why He come in flesh and in soul. That's the reason Jesus could say, "It's not Me that doeth the works, it's My Father that dwelleth in Me." [Life Is The Healer, Indianapolis, IN 57-0611]

“When our Kinsman came, Jesus of Nazareth, born in Bethlehem, He stood on top of the Golgotha, and lifted Him up between the heavens and earth as a memorial that He'd redeemed everything that the human race had lost in the fall. How can men despise Divine healing and the powers of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, when a public ensign was made at Calvary, that, "I've redeemed the whole human race and everything that they ever lost." He redeemed our soul, redeemed our body, redeemed everything that we lost in the fall. Our Kinsman Redeemer came and was made flesh, and dwelled among us, and offered up the ensign, and said, "It's finished," What's finished? Everything is finished. We're just walking right into our inheritance. And as the days go on, we're walking closer and closer.” [Why Little Bethlehem, Jeffersonville, IN 58-1228]

“We believe that all that God can do for you has already been purchased for you at Calvary. When He died at Calvary, He finished the plan of salvation, redemption for the soul and body. And now, we draw the earnest of our salvation, which is the Holy Spirit. And then also we have the--the earnest of our resurrection; that is, that when our bodies are sick, God is our Healer. I believe that it is upon a finished work that was completed for us at Calvary some nineteen hundred years ago, when Christ died for us to redeem us from these things.” [Sirs, We Would See Jesus, Bloomington, IL 61-0409]

“When that last soul comes in, then the time of redemption is finished. Then the Lamb comes forth to claim His rights to what He has redeemed, and that's all creation. The earth and everything belongs to Him. See? He has redeemed it with His own Blood. And when He come forth to take this Book to open it, why, my, they was... John didn't weep any more. And he looked, and this Lamb was a slain Lamb. It has already been killed, but it was alive again.” [The Third Seal, Jeffersonville, IN 63-0320]

“Then how dare anybody to say that Mary, or Joseph, or any other mortal could be--be an intercessor. You cannot intercess unless there's Blood there. Yes sir, there's one Mediator between God and man, and that's Christ Jesus. That's what the Scriptures says. There He stands, and until the last soul has been redeemed, and then He comes forth to claim what He has redeemed.” [The Sixth Seal, Jeffersonville, IN 63-0323]

“We're trying to get every soul saved, so that Jesus can come. And He cannot come until that last one that has the name of the Book of Life, that was put There before the foundation of the world; when that name is called, that's the last one then. He came to redeem, to bring back. Redeem is "to bring back." And when He brings the last one in... He is setting at the right hand of God, tonight, doing His mediatorial work. And when that last soul is saved, that was redeemed, and seen and knowed by God before the foundation of the world; when that last soul is saved, that closes the Book. Then the Lamb comes out, takes the Book out of the right hand of Him that sets upon the Throne.” [Christ Is Identified The Same In All Generations, Tampa, FL 64-0415]

“I'm trying to redeem what time we have, so you bear with me. The... I'll pray that God will get every soul that's under here, that's savable, may He save it. I don't know how He does it. And it's our business to send the Word, or to preach the Word. And let the... It is a seed. And when that seed goes to growing, it'll produce just exactly what the promise is.” [Then Jesus Came And Called, Tampa, FL 64-0417]

“You are these other parts that's drawed out of this earth. The earth, you're a part of the earth; your body. Your soul is part of God, a attribute of God, displayed here on earth in a body. The body is to be redeemed. Now, the soul is redeemed, because it was in sin. So God come down, by a process of justification, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost, and redeemed your soul.” [The Future Home, Jeffersonville, IN 64-0802]

“If You heal their physical body from cancer, TB, pneumonia, something, they'll get sick again, no doubt, if they live very long, for their body is still under sin, the curse. But let them get the--the real Divine healing, the healing of the soul, which makes a new creature, passes from death unto Life, and then waiting in this old tabernacle for the redemption of the body after the soul has been redeemed.” [The God Of This Evil Age, Jeffersonville, IN 65-0801M]
