Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. ROMANS 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
GALATIANS 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; GALATIANS 4:2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. GALATIANS 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: GALATIANS 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, GALATIANS 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
MATTHEW 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
“Now, what is adoption? Now, let me get this now; I don't know whether... I won't have time to get through this, but I'll hit it. Then if there's a question, you can a--ask me a little later on sometime in the message, something. Listen.
Your adoption is not your birth. Your adoption is your placing. When you were borned again, John 1:17, I believe.
When we are borned of the Spirit of God we are sons of God. But we were predestinated. Now, here's what I'm trying to get you to
, for this sons of the last day (You see?), to the... See?
We were predestinated to--unto adoption. Now, now here we are. Now, this is what hurts Pentecostal a little. They say, "I got borned again. Praise the Lord, got the Holy Ghost!" Fine. You're a child of God. That's right.
But yet that ain't what I'm talking about. See, you were predestinated unto adoption.
Adoption is placing a son.” [60-0518 Adoption 2, Jeffersonville IN], [Galatians 4:1-5]
“Then, Ephesians 4:30 says, "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed until the Day of your redemption." Now, some of you Baptists that wants to go on Eternal security, now, if you'll come to that stage, I'll stand with you. It's Eternal security if you'll come to that place. But just to say, anybody says, "I've joined the Baptist church. I'm a Presbyterian. I got Eternity security." That's wrong. Your own life proves you haven't got It, until This is there.
And God has adopted you and sealed you by the Holy Ghost into His Kingdom, then there is no getting out of it. You are Eternally secure. Believe. "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby all you and your godly virtues are sealed until the Day of redemption."”

[John 15:1-6]“Let's turn to another Scripture, right quick, I got writ down on this other page here. Romans 8:22, I think it's beautiful. Now, in studying yesterday, I kind of wrote out a few Scriptures here that I'd like to refer to.... we know that--we know that the
whole creation groaneth and
travaileth in pains together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the
Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourself, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our bodies. Oh, do you see it? "All creation is groaning," said Paul.
Everything is groaning. Look at the trees how they struggle. Look at the flowers how they struggle for life; just for the frost to tear them down. Look at the trees how they struggle to hold their branches out to sing glories unto God. See? Everything, all nature, all animals, all birds,
how he flies from the enemy quickly and gets away, everything groaning. "And we ourselves," said Paul, "we groan, too, with them, for we are waiting for the redemption of our body."”
[61-0611 Revelation Chapter Five 1, Jeffersonville IN], [Romans 8:22-23]“But now! Now! They did all those years until now!
Now we have the earnest of our inheritance! Oh, my! What do we have? We have the evidence that God lives. We have the evidence that God is with us. We have the evidence that God has not forsaken us, that we are His and He is ours, because we (in our bodies), we now tabernacle the Holy Spirit of God that cries out, "Abba, Father." And there's nothing can ever take that away.
We are anchored in Christ. Now, the trees does not have it, nature does not have it, but yet we are still groaning with them because as yet we haven't received the fulness of our adoption. But we have the earnest of it, that we were picked up from the things of the world and now become sons and daughters of God. What kind of people should we be? Oh, my, when we think of that! Think of it!
Now we have the earnest, our spirit's groaning for the full adoption, but now we have the earnest of it. As we receive the Holy Spirit, it is the earnest of our complete adoption or complete salvation. Oh, how beautiful! I just love that. All right.”
[61-0611 Revelation Chapter Five 1, Jeffersonville IN], [Mark 14:36],
[Ephesians 1:5, 14]“Let's get way down deep. This son was no more under a tutor but he was like his father. And his father give him certain things to do. The father might've told him, "You take care of this field over here, or you do this over here. You take care of the slaves; you take care of whatever it was." He was in full possession (Amen.),
for he was adopted into that family. And his name on a check was just as good as his daddy's. Now, what God has done, the reason we see these things, and know that there's something wrong, friend. We see the promises of God; we see it in the Word of God.
But God has just begin, to my humble opinion, to adopting His son, positionally calling him out to one side, giving him a certain ministry, anointing them for that purpose, and sending them out. Watch what happens when He does.”
[55-0116A The Believer's Position In Christ, Chicago IL], [Revelation 1:16]“Now, into His church,
you that's positionally is seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, be humble, brethren. Someday the Holy Spirit will speak to you, call you out to one side somewhere in a little cabin on a hillside, or in the washroom, somewhere, and there will anoint you for a certain service, or certain thing to do. It won't be the laying on the hand of the presbyters or elders
. It'll be the laying on the hands of God Almighty, Himself, to put a new ministry in you, and a new robe on you, and to set you out as an example. And all the demons out of torment will never upset you. God, grant, my brethren, that we'll each one receive this blessing.”
[55-0116A The Believer's Position In Christ, Chicago IL], [Ephesians 2:6]“A very beautiful type today of what we need a Joshua for today. The trouble today, when we are come into our promised land, Gad wants to raise sheep like Ephraim; one wants to raise something like the other.
Every man wants to be the same. Let God give one man a gift of healing, every man wants a gift of healing. Ephraim and Gad, and all of them, wants to mix all up and come as one.
But we are divided in our positions. All don't have the gift of wisdom; all don't prophesy; all don't speak with tongues; all are not prophets. But God has set in the church (Whew.) some that prophesy, some that speak with tongues. We want to make them all speaking in tongues. See how the confusion is? Then you can't get nowhere. Why, the Philistines would take them over in a little bit. Sure. But when each man, by a leader, separated them by spiritual discernment and placed them into the body, there they remained and become the cream of the earth.
God, give us a Joshua. God, give us back a Joshua that'll hold the commission with the Word. That's the way God told him. "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth,
for thou shall meditate therein day and night," for he had a commission before him.” [60-0911M As I Was With Moses So I Will Be With Thee, Jeffersonville IN], [I Corinthians 14:1-6],
[I Timothy 4:15]
“Positionally placing the church where they belong, each one, how we're called by the adoption. God has adopted us unto the sons; we are sons by birth, adopted and positionally placed by the Holy Spirit. Look. They were every one Hebrews, when they crossed the river,
but Joshua divided the land and give each one his land according to the utterance of his mother at the birth, where the Holy Spirit told her.”
[60-0515e Adoption 1, Jeffersonville IN], [Galatians 4:1-5]
“We are waiting for the fulness of adoption. This will take place when? At the first resurrection. That's when our bodies will be changed from these vile creatures that we are and we'll have a body like His Own glorious body, "For we shall see Him as He is, and we will be like Him." When He appears, we appear in His likeness. We will have a body like His, a glorious glorified body, and all the trials and struggles of life will fade off into a little mist and blow away to never be no more.
And these earthly tabernacles which we now groan in, we're waiting for that earnest--that earnest... for the salvation fully in its fulness to come. But now in these tabernacles of clay we have Something that tells us that we have raised up so far. Amen. What is the earnest? It's the little down payment that holds it, Brother Dauch. It's the earnest. Now, once when we loved the things of the world, once when we sinned and went about doing things of the world, and cared not for God, we were alienated from Him, without God, without Christ, in the world; now, God sent His Holy Spirit and through that we are lifted up from those things.
Now we have the earnest, that we know that we've passed from death unto Life. Amen! Here, as I was trying to show this like this. Here is where the ordinary sinner runs, down here on the bottom. Now, the Christian goes up a little higher than this, he rises above all that stuff. That's the earnest of his salvation.”
