“And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.” [Hebrews 11:39-40]
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” [Acts 2:38-39]
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. “[Romans 10:9-10]

“God's promises are always on condition. You must, absolutely. No matter how fundamental you are with the promise, it's under conditions, always. How we could stop here and wave through that Scripture, back and forth, for hours, see, that the condition is what means something. You can be just as fundamental as you want to, but it's under conditions by the promise, predestination, and so forth.” [62-1230M Absolute, Jeffersonville IN]
“In this hour that we're now living, and there's trouble on every hand, there's no place to go to. Sickness is crowding so hard against our scientific researches till they have not medicines that'll touch the diseases. And the atomic race, the missile race, the world shaking, the church in the condition that it's in, and Jesus comes walking right up by His promise to us. The same Jesus that walked on the sea that night walks right in, out of the Bible into the congregation. You go call me holy-roller anyhow, but I feel like shouting. Yes, sir. Christ of the Bible, the God of history walking right into the congregation on His promise of His resurrection... The grave could not hold Him; death could not hold Him; hell could not hold Him. There wasn't room to hold Him. He broke the bands asunder and walked out. And today He says, "Because I live, you live also. I'll be with you even to the end the world. And the works that I do, shall you do also," walking right in on His promise.” [59-1120 A Prophet Like Unto Moses, San Jose CA]
“And Elijah turned around. The only thing that he wanted to know was, he could ever get that promise. That's all he wanted. And he said, "Now, I'm going to ask you what--tell you what my desire is. I want a double portion of your Spirit to come upon me. What are you going to say?" Elijah, the anointed prophet, turned around and said, "Thou hast asked a hard thing, but this will be given to you on a condition." So is the Holy Ghost given to you on a condition. See? "On conditions, if you can meet the condition; that is, if you can see me while I go away, you'll have what you ask for." That's all Elisha wanted was the promise. If he knowed the promise and the conditions of the promise, then he kept his eye right on Elijah.” [56-1206 A Second-handed Robe, Brooklyn NY]
“And now we see Him setting at the right hand of God, making intercessions upon our profession, or the same word is translated, "confession." And no matter how much you pray, how much you cry, how much you agonize, how much you do, it'll never be accepted. God can do nothing for you until first by faith you accept it, and believe it, and confess it. See? That's the only way God can act now is when you act first, 'cause He's a High Priest making intercessions on your confession of your faith in His finished work. I don't believe there's anyone could find fault with that. See? That's the basis of Divine healing.” [56-1209E  Jehovah Jireh, Brooklyn NY]
“For God can only save you as you testify. He can only heal you as you testify. He is setting at the right hand of the Father tonight to make intercession upon your profession. It isn't how loud you cry, how hard you beat the altar, how many good deeds you do; it's your faith that saves you. And if you'll confess it with your lips and coming from your heart, He goes to work as a High Priest setting at the right hand of the Father to make intercessions upon your confession. Hebrews 3:1, He cannot do one thing for you until first you believe it and accept and confess it to be so. And the people today, they'll go out, say, "Well, I felt better last night, but today I'm so bad I just can't hardly stand it." That's just exactly when you lose your confession and drop right down. No matter who you are, how saintly, how godly you are, you're a minister, clergyman, or you're a deacon, or whatever you are, or you been a Christian for fifty years, if you go out of here tomorrow and lose faith that you're a Christian and start telling people you're not a Christian any more, you're backslid. You're gone.” [54-1207 At Thy Word Lord I'll Let Down The Net, Johnson City NY]
“If you've never received the Holy Ghost as yet, don't know nothing about It, and something in your heart telling you that you want It, you stay right there. That's Eternal Life, that's what you're heir to. Stay right there, and look Satan right in the face and say, "You are the robber, you are the one! I've come to possess what Jesus Christ died for me to have, now hand it back! Get out of my way!". Then, the first thing you know, the Holy Ghost will pour upon you. Then something happens. Something will happen. What is it? God vindicated He keeps His Word. That's just exactly. Then, see, then after you see the Word is vindicated to you, that you are saved, you do have the Holy Ghost, then what? Abraham had won the victory, here he come marching back; he was going down, with his faith laying on the Word that he could bring it back, what he had lost, and here he come back with it, marching the victor's march. That's the same thing you can do. If you don't have Eternal Life, ask God. Confess your sins, believe on the Son of God, accept the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and say, "God, I come for It, I'm here to receive It." Then you come back, the victor's march. You got It. Amen. Just shining, my, the birds sings different, and everybody. You're in love with everybody then. That old hatred, malice, strife is done gone. Love everybody! Oh, you're just having a great time, singing, shouting, praising God. Don't care what anybody says about you. It's all right. Sure, on the victor's march!” [62-0506 Possessing All Things, Jeffersonville IN]
“Now, not only that, but He give us the promise. What was it? He give us the earnest of our inheritance. He said, "Now to prove this to every believer. Now you're walking down here in unbelief. You don't believe the Word. You're walking in sin and the things of the world. But He that believeth on Me has Eternal Life, a Life that can't die." Notice now. When we receive His Spirit, we who are once dead in sin and trespasses, He gives us new Birth, new Life. What does He do? He... We die and are buried in Jesus. We raise in the Spirit, from the worldly things, unto the Heavenly things. And tonight, "We are setting together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus."” [62-0513E Letting Off The Pressure, Jeffersonville IN]
