“For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.”[II Corinthians 13:8]
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [Ephesians 6:12]
“For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.”[Romans 7:14-15]
“I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”[Romans 7:25]
“Now, this great wrestling has been going on for many years. It started in heaven, and Satan was kicked out into the earth, and then he become a enemy to God's people. And since then, he's used all of his strength and his strategy to try to pull God's people across the fires, or, into his fires. And we know that Who has the most power: God does. And God, when He gave His people the best Thing that He could to combat Satan with, was His Word. Now, because the Word is God, and who's stronger than God? So the Word is God, and the Word becomes our Strength. God in the church, becomes its Strength to pull Satan to his own fires that he has made. And the tug goes on.” [The Contest, Jeffersonville IN, 62-1231.
“When this great battle started on earth, there had to be a mutual meeting place; there had to be a place selected for the battle to begin, and for the battle to rage; and that battlegrounds begin in the human mind. There's where the battle starts. The human mind was chosen for the place of the battle, where it was to begin; and that is, because that decisions are made from the mind, the head. Now, they never started it from some organization; they never started it from some mechanical affair; the grounds never started there; therefore, that organization can never, never do the work of God, because the battlegrounds, where you've got to meet your enemy, is in the mind. You've got to make your choice. It meets you.” [Greatest Battle Ever Fought, Jeffersonville IN,62-0311]
“Satan's army brings diseases. That's what Satan is; he's a destroyer. Satan--the whole kingdom of Satan is sickness, death, and sorrow, and flusterations, and worry, all on Satan. God is Life, faith, joy, peace, over here. See? Now, that's the two great forces that's coming together right now. They're battling; they're battling right here in the building right now. They battle day by day with you. Every force, Satan following you along, that great big, kingly, priestly Goliath trying to scare the liver out of you, he's right... By God, you're fortified (Amen.) with the Gospel, with the Word of Truth around your loins. Glory. Preacher, that's what it is: helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, and the Sword waving in your hand. "Satan, I'm coming to meet you. You meet me in the name of science; you meet me in the name of--of culture; you meet me in the name of organization; you meet me in the name of this, that, or the other; but I meet you in the Name of the Lord God of Israel. I'm coming after you. Give away." Even death itself can't stand there. Chop a hole right through it. That's right.” [Greatest Battle Ever Fought, Jeffersonville IN,62-0311]
“See his attack? Watch. His attack is what? Disbelieve God's Word; that's his attack. There, can you see the greatest battle that's ever fought? There's only two forces: Satan and God. And what's Satan's weapon against you? Is to try to get you to disbelieve your Weapon. He disarms you. Let's--let's listen real quiet now, listen. If he can get you to disbelieve, your Weapon is equivalent; if he gets you to believe that your Weapon is not strong enough, he's disarmed you. Oh, Brother Neville, I hope you never disbelieve that. Look. He disarms you, when he gets you to disbelieve that Weapon. When you lay That down, that finishes your fight; you're done. Hold that Weapon; don't you lay It down.” [Greatest Battle Ever Fought, Jeffersonville IN,62-0311].
“And Satan can only... His power he's got is the perverted power of God. It isn't no real power; it's a perversion of God's power, everything that Satan has. Death is only a perverted life; a lie is only the truth mistold. See? Adultery is a--a act misused, a righteous act misused. See? Everything that Satan's got is something that was perverted, but it's a power.  And we are today setting here, and one or the other power is going to control us; so let's cast out the evil one. Let's take our position like the stars of the heavens.” [The [Greatest Battle Ever Fought, Jeffersonville IN, 62-0311]
“We are taught in James 4:7, to resist the devil, and he just won't walk away, but he will flee. Resist the devil. How do you resist the devil? The same way our Chief Captain told us to do it. Take the Word of God; that's how you resist the devil is by the Word of God. The Chief Captain told us just how it was done.” [Greatest Battle Ever Fought, Jeffersonville IN,62-0311]
“Well, that's what's the matter with our Pentecostal faith today. We've let too many things hinder it, the faith that we've been taught, the Holy Spirit that's been living in us. We've let too many things: looking at somebody else. And the devil's always trying to point you to somebody's failure, but he tries to keep you away from the real testimony that's genuine. He will point you to a hypocrite sometime, who went out impersonating something. He didn't do it, because he was impersonating. But if it come from the true source of the Word of God, "Heavens and earth will pass away but My Word cannot pass away." It's got to stay.” [Greatest Battle Ever Fought, Jeffersonville IN,62-0311]
“You stay there till God equips you with the baptism of the Spirit. Then everything you've got need of in this world or the world to come, lives right in you. The all wise God knowed how to equip His army. He equipped it with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. That's exactly what He sent for these last days. He knew that we'd have to have it. He knew that people would reason, would go to reading this Word when it become in print out here, what would happen.” [To Take On The Whole Armor Of God, SANTA MARIA CA, 62-0701]

“Somebody told me he had one, one time was converted, received the Holy Ghost, and he said to him, "How you getting along?"  He said, "Pretty good and pretty bad."  He said, "Well, how do you mean pretty bad and pretty good?" He said, "Well, since me receive the Holy Ghost," he said, "there's been two dogs in me, and one of them a black dog and one of them a white dog." And said, "They argue all the time." Said, "They growl and fight at one another." And said, "The white dog wants me do good; the black dog wants me do bad."   Said, "Well, Chief, which one of them wins the fight?" Said, "That depends on which one Chief feeds the most." So I think that's a good answer here. See? There just depends on the warring of the body that's in you; it depends on which one you cater to, which nature you cater to, the carnal nature after the things of the world, or the spiritual nature after the things of God.” [Questions And Answers, Jeffersonville IN, 64-0830E]
“Through meekness, through sweetness, through the Holy Spirit that we conquer, not some great mighty intellectual giant, but he that can humble himself is the man who conquers. The man who can be kicked around and still be a servant of Christ, that's the conqueror. Now, he said, "He has prevailed. He's worthy to take the Book and to open It and to loose the seals thereof."” [Revelation Chapter Five, 1, Jeffersonville IN,  61-0611]
“The contest is on. Paul said, "Forgetting those things that are in the past," the--all of our mistakes of last year, "I press towards the mark of the high calling." All my mistakes that I've made in all these years, forgive me for them. God, forgive me. Church, forgive me. And the ministry that I--I've failed with, I feel; God, forgive me for it. Church, forgive me of my mistake. And I'll press towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus.” [The Contest, Jeffersonville IN, 62-1231]
