L-1 And may the Lord God help me. And God knows, just for His glory, that God might help me to know your condition, or know what you're here for, know the reason why you're here, or something on that order, that you know that I do not know. If I'm a stranger to you, well, I wouldn't know nothing about you. Is that right? And if I... if it would be spoke through me, it would be some way I'd have of knowing it. Is that right? Would you believe it was the Lord Jesus, what I've tried, in these few minutes, to pound together? Would you believe it? Then, would you accept it, then, as Jesus wanting to heal you, or--or give you whatever you want, or do for you what you want Him to do? I don't know what you're here for. You know that. You might be here to... you might have domestic trouble, you might be losing your home, or I--I don't know what you're doing. See. You're just here. But if He will reveal it, then you'll accept it. Will you? And will the audience do the same? You pledge you'd do that? The sinner do the same? You accept Him as, to be your Saviour?
Now may, Heavenly Father, I commend myself unto Thee, or, commit myself unto Thee, that the Angel of the Lord, which is near now, will draw nigh and anoint Thy servants, that this might be known that You are Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I've spoke for You, Father, now speak and confirm the Word, that I have told the truth. For Your glory, Lord, I ask it, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
L-2 Now, I... just to talk to you, just a moment, like He did the woman at the well. You're the first patient, you see, and it makes it little strange, 'cause some people are wanting to believe. But now, since the anointing is here, why, it's--it's... you just feel it coming from everywhere. See? People, spirits, I'm not dealing with the flesh. It's the spirit of the person, see, in the supernatural realm. [John 4:5-21]
But God knows all about you, doesn't He, sister? You're suffering from, one thing, you begin to get kind of away from me, begin to come, to get smaller, and it looks like, oh, yes, you're extremely nervous. You're bothered with a nerve trouble. And then, you've got something wrong with your lungs. You got lung trouble. That's right. And you got something wrong with your legs. That's right. And you've had a sick spell recently, and that was called... it was in the lu-... it was pneumonia. You just had pneumonia.
And you don't belong in this city, you're not from this city. You've come from the south coming north. And I see a city that you're from, it's got a... some kind of a big tool factory of a place where they make a lot of tools or something. And it's near... I see a sign that starts with a O, Oshkosh. Oshkosh is where you're from. That's true. You believe with all your heart, now? Will you raise your hand, see?
The rest of you believe with all your heart?
L-3 Shall we pray?
Our Heavenly Father, I thank Thee for Thy lovingkindness, and I pray that You'll heal this, our sister, and let her be made completely whole. Grant it, Lord. And bless those in the audience who are now waiting, and may this be the end of suffering for many here, tonight. And may our sister be healed, also; return to her city, and may her testimony start an old-fashion revival, Lord, that'll just sweep through the country. In Jesus' Name, I ask it. Amen.
God bless you, my sister. Go, and His blessings be with you.
Have faith in God now, everyone, look, live.
L-4 Now, this is the patient. We are strangers to each other, sir? We do not know each other, but the Lord Jesus knows the both of us, doesn't He? And realizing as men together, someday we must answer God, answer in His Presence, give an account for all that we do. That's right, isn't it?
If God will tell me where your trouble is and what's wrong with you, will you accept your healing, if it's that's what it's for? Knowing that we're strangers, first time ever meeting in life.
Your trouble is in your leg, isn't it? It's your left leg and it's a tumor. And the tumor is back behind the knee on the left leg, covered over by your trousers now. That's true? Do you believe, now, with all your heart? Come here just a moment.
Our Heavenly Father, I bless this, my brother, and lay my hands upon him to take this curse of the devil from him. And may he be made completely whole in Jesus' dear Name I ask it. Amen.
God bless you, my brother. May you write to me telling me how it all left you and made you well.
L-5 What'd you think about that, mother, setting there on the end of the seat there? You were praying, then, for God to take that gallbladder trouble away from you. He did. Raise up your hand if that's true. Um-hum. You just asked Jesus, "Have him turn and talk to me." Wasn't that right? Raise up your hand if that's true. That's right. He heard your prayer. You're healed now. You won't vomit with it no more. Uh-huh. God bless you.
Have faith in God. Believe with all your heart.
L-6 How do you do, lady? You believe with all your heart? I believe that. Just a bit nervous now because it's in...
19 (I wish you'd walk out here, brother, if you will, or--or out there, if you will just a minute.)
The Spirit was moving across the man and I...
I want you to look this way just a minute. I want to talk to you. We are strange to each other. Are we, lady? This is our first time of meeting in life. Is that true? But the Holy Spirit has knowed you ever since you were born.
And now, I want to ask you something. You're aware that you're in the Presence, Something... of Something. You're... it's a feeling that you have at this time, that's kind of odd to you. It's a--it's a... You haven't felt like this before. If that's right, raise up your hand so the people will know. Uh-huh. See? Well, that's nothing to harm you. Do you see the picture there with that Light? That's what's over you right now. That's what makes you feel that way. See. And that's what... See. As--as He... When It comes and anoints us both now, then I won't talk no more, He'll use my voice, and talk. He'll tell you what He wants you to know, then you--you'll know whether it's true or not. Then you being just a little shaky and nervous, that's the reason It's lingering just a moment. Just believe me as His servant, is all I ask you to do.
L-7 Now, I do believe that. And now, I see you, and you're something wrong around the lungs. I see they've examined you somewhere around the lungs, and I hear him say something about a water. It's--it's--it's water between your lungs and your ribs in there somewhere. It's--it's kind of a water around your lungs. And you're... you got a--a real nervous condition, too, haven't you? I see you really dropping things. And here I see you kneeling, or somewhere, having a prayer. It was by a chair, or something, just... Surely has been recently, 'cause you... And then you're... you got a... you got some kind of trouble with your bowels, too. You're having bowel trouble. That is right.
You believe me, now, to be His prophet? Let me say this to you: You belong to church, too, but a Lutheran church. You're a Lutheran by faith. That's right. Isn't it? Um-hum, yeah. I'm not reading your mind, but He knows all thing. You couldn't hide your life now at all. See? It's right here. Now, won't you believe? Because, you're in a serious condition, sister. Will you believe me to be His prophet? [The sister says, "Yes."--Ed.] You believe. God loves you.
L-8 Now, if there's Something on me now that, It's speaking through me, and you heard that Voice, whatever It told you; now, that wasn't me, that was Him. Now, if that anointing is here, and He said, "These signs shall follow them that believe; if they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." The Bible said that, the last words Jesus said 'fore He left the earth. That's what He will do, won't He? Would you come near, just a moment?
Would you bow your head with me, while I offer prayer?
Our kind, loving, Heavenly Father, as this, our sister, stands here in a serious condition, Lord. Let mercy now abide with her. And may the Lord Jesus, Who "was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes we were healed," may that atonement now be applied to our sister, and may she get well and be a normal, well woman. Grant it, Lord, to give testimony of the resurrection and the power of Jesus Christ. May this be the hour that her faith will be anchored forever. I pray, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
God be with you, my sister. Watch what happens to you, now.
Let's say, "Praise be to God." He gives us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. You believe that?
L-9 What do you think, sister? There's the Light hanging over you. Suffer with a heart trouble, don't you? Uh-huh, uh-huh. Do you believe He heals you? He does. Amen. How thankful we are.
L-10 This lady here, crying, has got something wrong with her legs. You believe He heals you? He does.
Mother, what do you think there on the end? Do you believe He heals you of that heart trouble? You do? Um-hum. You were praying, also. That's who I was speaking to. The Angel then went to this other woman; it's back to you again, now. You have heart blockage in your heart; stoppage, makes you have smothering spells. That's right, isn't it? The little elderly lady, I see you trying to get your breath and so forth, your heart flutters, and goes back. That's right. That's right, isn't it? Raise up your hand if you... the lady there, that's right. Now, believe Him and you won't have it no more.
Let's say, "Thanks be to God." If you can only believe. Just have faith.
L-11 I see that Angel of the Lord, that Light, standing over a heavyset woman. She's right here. She's dressed in blue. She's praying. She's got a little red hat on. She's looking towards me. That's right. She's got a gall condition. Haven't you, lady? If that's right, wave your handkerchief back and forth. You did have it, you don't have it now. Your faith has made you whole. Jesus Christ heals you.
Let us say, "Praise the Lord."
L-12 Little lady setting right back there with a lady's trouble, praying, female condition. Setting right back here towards the back, right there. See? Raise up your hand there, little lady. You that's praying. Yes. Raise up your hand there. The lady with the female trouble, setting there. God bless you. Stand up on your feet now, accept your healing. You can be made well. Jesus Christ heals you. Amen. God be with you. Don't fear, only believe.
Hallelujah. How we love Him. He is so good to us. We are so unworthy of His blessings. How He wants to heal you all.
L-13 Sir, you setting there, with your hand up over your mouth there, that's praying, has got a nervous condition, getting up at night. It's a prostate condition. You believe Jesus Christ makes you well? You accept it, do you? You believe that He heals you? If you do, you may go, and it'll never bother you again, if you believe it. God bless you.
When you're called, jump quickly. See? Cause It leaves you, and goes somewhere else. I miss it then. See? Watch.
L-14 How do you do, sir? Well, we are strange to each other, but the Lord Jesus knows us both, doesn't He?
Anybody here know this man? People know him? Now, be real reverent. Just as reverent as you can.
Now, the man, a stranger to me. I never seen you in my life, sir, but God knows you. He knows all about you, doesn't He? But I don't, He does. And we were born, probably, miles apart, and years apart, but He knows both of us. Now, if He will let me know what you're here for, will you accept it?
Now, friends, you in the audience, how many in here, say, "If God will tell that man," (that you know, say you know him, and you know his troubles; I don't) "and will make it real clear..."
We could just go on, hour after hour. But the thing of it is, that, I've got a big meeting coming in Chicago in the next few days, and from there, on to the West Coast, and from there, to Australia, and on, just on and on.
I want you to believe, a little group of people like this. Are you aware that Jesus Christ is here, risen from the dead? Do you believe it?
L-15 What about you, here in the wheelchairs, tonight? What about you in the cots and stretchers? Look this way, and go to praying yourself, believe. You can't live unless Jesus touches you. You're passed that, now.
There was some lepers set at the gate, and they were lepers. Syria was besieged. They said, "Why do we set here? We die. If we go into the city, they're eating one another's children in there. There's nothing to eat there. And if we stay here, we're sure to die. We only got one hope, that's go down to the enemy. If they kill us, we're going to die anyhow, so we can't lose nothing. But if they do save us, then we'll--we'll be--we'll be saved."
Now, you're setting in that condition tonight. The doctors has done all they can do. They can't do no more. You're paralyzed, cripples, and whatever you are. They done all they can do. Well, if you... you can't go back to them 'cause they can't do nothing. And I'm sure if you set where you are, you're sure to die. And you only got one opportunity. That's not go to the enemy. You're invited to come to Jesus, Who's waiting for you. Not like they did, to the enemy, to see if they could get a chance. Jesus is inviting you. Come to Him and live. Believe and be made well. He's here, His Presence, and He's proven that He's raised from the dead. Amen. [II Kings 7:3-4]
L-16 The little lady, setting back here, holding her hand up to her nose, a little stripe over her hat, gray-headed, wearing glasses, the Angel of the Lord is standing over her. She's bothered. She's praying. She was, right then, praying, "O, God, don't let me... pass me by this night."
Why, she's bothered with a back trouble and a leg trouble. Isn't that right, lady? If that's right, raise up your hand. The little lady... I'm talking... There she is. You was praying like that, is that right? Wave your handkerchief back and forth.
Don't... How do I know what she was praying about? Because Jesus Christ is here. Hallelujah! I can't heal you, and He can't heal you. He's already done it. You have to accept it. Believe, you Wisconsin people, don't be slothful. Stand in the Name of the Lord. Show yourself a gallant soldier. Don't take "no" for an answer.
The Almighty God, Who can send His Son, Jesus, here in a proof of His resurrection, in a handful of people like this, tonight, and prove infallibly that He's raised from the dead. Hallelujah, means "praise our God".
L-17 Now, to the man. I can only do as He leads me, sir. I didn't aim to leave you, but I have to follow the Spirit the way It's leading.
I just know there's a man before me, and I know I'm in a building. That's about all it is now. And I know I'm getting weak. That's... I know that people are being healed.
You believe me as His prophet? As His servant? There's nothing to me, remember. I'm just a man like you are, but it's Him, His Presence. If God will tell me where your trouble is, will you believe then, with all your heart?
Your trouble is your heart. That's right, isn't it? Say, you've had a--a real spell of it recently, too, haven't you? I see you, to a doctor. Now, I'm listening now. You're somewhere, he's talking to you (kind of a strong-like man) and he says... he said it was caused from a blood clot. "A blood clot at your heart," he said, "would cause it." Isn't that the truth?
Do you believe me now as His prophet? Amen. Your name is something like Zeiernic, or something like that. Your first name's William and you come from a city called Clintonville, or something like that. That's right, isn't it? Uh-huh. You believe now? Then you'll go back home, healed in the Name of Jesus Christ, and be made well, for the glory of Almighty God. Amen.
Hallelujah! You believe?
L-18 You believe that God, take the arthritis away from you and make you well? Just go believing with all your heart and you'll get well. Amen.
60 Let's say, "Thanks be to God." Believe with all your heart. Look at the woman, come up here limping, crippling, look at her going, walking off there without any sign of arthritis. Let us say, "Praise be to God, Who gives us the victory."
61 What did she do? When I seen her come up, I seen the Lord touched her. And she done what I told her to do. She was made well.
L-19 You believe that, lady? You believe God would heal you of that nervousness? You believe He's healed you? Then go rejoicing, He has.
And make you well, in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.
Believe now with all your heart, you'll be well.
Let's say, "Praise the Lord."
L-20 Come, lady. Hallelujah! Do you believe? Amen. If you'd believe God just right, it'll take the place of insulin, and diabetes will leave you. Do you believe it? Then go, and as you have believed so will it be unto you.
I bless thee, my sister, for your healing, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
God bless you, sister. Have faith.
L-21 I want to ask you something, lady. While you were standing in the line, and that lady come through here, had arthritis, and I spoke to her, a real strange feeling struck you. You was standing right there on the step. Is that right? You were healed, too, of the same thing. God bless you. Just go. See.
70 Have faith in God.
L-22 Do you believe, lady? I want to ask you something. You have a trouble that I'd like to speak to you privately about. Would that be all right? Away from these microphones? [Brother Branham speaks to the lady, away from the microphones--Ed.]
Now, the lady, nothing immorally, but something I could not say before a mixed audience, and no one at all was present but this woman and Almighty God.
And did He tell me just exactly right? Was that right? If it is, raise your hand. And you're healed, too, sister. You may go home rejoicing. Uh-huh. Just say, "Praise be to God."
L-23 Do you believe when He was talking right then, you got healed, setting there in the chair, while this, with the lady, was going on?
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bless this woman, and send her home to be well, in Jesus' Name.
Have faith, now, believe with all your heart.
L-24 Sir, do you believe? If you believe with all your heart, you can go eat your supper. That ulcer in your stomach left you. Do you believe it? Then go eat a good hamburger, and enjoy your supper, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Hallelujah!
L-25 Come, lady. Do you believe God can take that back trouble away from you, kidneys and things, make you well? Do you believe that? Then go and receive it, in Jesus Christ's Name.
L-26 You believe out here in the audience? You believe you're in His Presence? I know it's time for me to leave. Someone's got a hold of me, they know when, but course, the whole audience is just like it's all in a glow to me. The Angel of the Lord is here. How can you disbelieve? You believing?
What do you think, sir, setting there in that wheelchair? Do you believe?
What do you think, lady, setting in that wheelchair? Believe. You're going to die if you don't. You believe me to be God's prophet? That cancer in your stomach could kill you. It's about killed you now. The only thing you can do is take Jesus for your Healer.
That lung, the things that put you in that wheelchair setting there, you can, both, if you'll believe and accept it.
I can't heal you, but you see, your case is open to me. If I was in your place, I'd rise out of them wheelchairs in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Somebody give them a little help, and help them up. There they come. Raise up, sir.
Stand up to your feet, everyone, if you wish to. Raise up.
And Jesus Christ heal you, and make you, every one, whole.
